The first question they should ask is: “What skills and capabilities do I need to grow the team?”
Beyond the hard skills of “ten years of this” and “five years of that”, who is going to best augment your team from a skillset and mindset perspective? Who has the inherent consultative approach, who has the experience in our industry to act as a trusted advisor?
