The one thing I talk about a lot in the change management space is that no two engagements are the same but the motivations of the individuals being impacted are pretty similar.
In 99% of the engagements, the reason why someone will change and maintain that change is the same regardless of the size, scope, market and goal of the organization: Satisfaction with the work that they do and the impact and outcome of that work.
If you can help people see that the change they are making will help them increase the effectiveness, efficiency and impact of the work that they do, this will ultimately increase their personal satisfaction with the work that they do. - Alex
