Do you look at problems from more than one angle?
Most companies don't. They say, “We have four people doing this one process. Our people say it takes too long, so we need to add another person.” Most of the time, throwing bodies at it will not solve the problem.
When have you asked:
• Is the process broken?
• Are there too many people involved?
• Are the systems or tools not right for the need?
• Do we have the right people involved in the process?
